This was my first experience at Mellow Mushroom. There is a varied menu, which I appreciated. I ordered the cheese calzone, and added pepperoni and it was absolutely delicious. I also really enjoyed the marinara sauce for dipping. My friend ordered the meatball sub, and she said the meatballs were tender and tasty. Her sub came with a bag of chips. I thought it was a little pricey but that seems to be everywhere these days. It was a casual atmosphere but with the concrete floor, it was not overly "cozy" feeling.

I get the garlic Parmesan wings when we go and they’re good every time! Pizza is good too. Considering we were one of the only tables in the place, the food took over 45 minutes and when the server came to our table multiple times, she didn’t feel the need to remove the empty plates even after handing us a to go box. Besides the slow service, food is good and they’re friendly.

We ordered only drinks. Menu hasn't many options. The price for regular lemonade is around $3 and I wouldn't say it was tasty. slow service when there are few customers. I liked the interior. It's nice and very clean.
